Output Charts

Prompts for your AI.

Every prompt here ends with a dashboard page you can send. Copy one, paste it into the AI you use with your numbers, and ask.

Start here, by what you have.

A spreadsheet or CSV

Here are my numbers. Build me a dashboard of them with Output Charts: read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt first and give me the link. If you can't make web calls, use the chart shapes in that file and give me the JSON for each chart to paste at outputcharts.com/json-to-chart.

What happens: A connected AI signs you up, builds the page and hands you the link. Any other hands you the chart data; you paste it and get the same page.

Numbers in an email

Below is an email with this week's numbers. Pull them out, build me a dashboard of them with Output Charts (read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt first) and give me the link. Add a Notes tile with the two lines I should tell my team. If you can't make web calls, give me the JSON for each chart instead.

What happens: The AI reads the email, picks the numbers and writes the note; you get the link or the JSON to paste.

A connected AI

Make a dashboard of these numbers with Output Charts, publish it and give me the link. Use refs so you can update the same page next time I paste new numbers.

What happens: With Output Charts added as a connector, the AI builds and publishes the page itself and updates the same one next time.

A coding agent

Read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt and build me a dashboard of this.

What happens: Claude Code, Cursor or any agent that can fetch a URL opens your account, builds the page in one call and keeps it fresh.

By job.

The same ask, in the words of the numbers you have. Each one has a real example page.

Finance and ops

The monthly pack as a live page, with the commentary beside the numbers.

Here is October's budget vs actual by team and the three headline numbers. Build me a dashboard of it with Output Charts (read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt first), add a Notes tile with what changed, and give me the link.

See the example: October report

Agencies and freelancers

A report page per client that your AI keeps current. Your name on it, not ours.

Here are this week's bookings, ad spend and spend by channel for my client. Build me a dashboard of them with Output Charts (read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt first) and give me a link I can send them. Next week I'll paste the new numbers; update the same page.

See the example: Harbor Dental, weekly

Support and CS

This week's tickets, first reply and CSAT on a page the team actually opens.

Here is the helpdesk export for the quarter. Build me a dashboard of tickets by week and by channel with Output Charts (read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt first), with this week's count, median first reply and CSAT at the top, and a line on what changed.

See the example: Support, Q4

Founders and small teams

Revenue, sign-ups and churn on one page, kept current by your AI or your code.

Here are MRR, sign-ups, churn and active users by week from Stripe and our sheet. Build me a dashboard of them with Output Charts (read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt first) and give me the link for the team.

See the example: Company metrics

Then keep asking.

Once the page exists, ask about it. The notes land beside the numbers.

If your AI is connected.

A connected assistant builds and publishes the page itself and updates the same one next time.

Claude and Cowork
Add Output Charts as a custom connector: Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, and paste the MCP URL from your API keys page. Then use the connected prompt above.
ChatGPT
Custom connectors are on paid plans, on the web, and some plans allow only reading; without one, ChatGPT hands you the chart data to paste.
Grok
Connect the MCP URL from your API keys page.
Coding agents
Read https://outputcharts.com/llms.txt and build me a dashboard of this.

The agent API docs have the connector steps in detail, the one-call create, pushes and keys for CI.

If your AI can't reach the web.

Give it the shape of the chart you want and ask for the JSON, then paste it at JSON to chart or into your dashboard. Each page below shows the shape and an example.

  • BarVertical bars, grouped or stacked.
  • Horizontal barThe same bars, drawn sideways.
  • LineA line across categories: linear, smooth, or stepped.
  • AreaA filled line, separate or stacked.
  • PieSlices of a whole, or a donut.
  • KPIOne formatted number.
  • TableRows and columns of text or numbers.
